The NTM Plasy Building Heritage Centre also includes the farm yard of the Plasy monastery. Its form refers to the Baroque period, but according to the preserved medieval building elements, it can be concluded that its origins date back to the time when the Cistercian monastery was founded, i.e. to the middle of the 12th century.

Within the NTM Plasy Building Heritage Centre, the farm yard serves as the Court of Building Crafts. It houses historical craft workshops with original machines, which have often lost none of their beauty and functionality even after more than 100 years. During a special guided tour, you will learn a lot not only about the functioning of the Baroque farm yard, but also about the old machines that are housed in it. In addition, you will be able to see how they can be used to make a mason’s trowel – an attribute of all builders. The most attentive visitors will take the spoon made during the tour home with them.
