The title Building of the Year of the Pilsen Region is awarded for successful, exemplary and inspiring restoration of monuments. In a non-violent way it brings the issue of restoration of historical buildings to the wider public. The award for the Building of the Year 2015 of the Pilsen Region in the category of Building Reconstruction was received by the National Technical Museum at the award ceremony on 24 May 2016 from His Excellency František Radkovský, Bishop Emeritus of Pilsen.
