The National Technical Museum opens on 19 May 2020
Come again to Letná to see the history of a technical genius
The National Technical Museum opens to the public on Tuesday 19 May 2020. The operation of the museum in Prague Letná is adapted to the current conditions and the NTM invites visitors to the museum for a safe tour of 9 exhibitions and 6 exhibitions. In the following weeks, the NTM branches – the NTM Centre of Building Heritage in Plasy from 26 May 2020 and the NTM Railway Depository in Chomutov from 5 June 2020 – will also be open to the public. The operating hours of the depository are changing and it will now be open from Friday to Sunday.
Karel Ksandr, Director General of the NTM, said. I thank my colleagues for their work in complicated conditions and all the visitors who will visit the museum in the near future. We have done our best for their safety and I trust they will be sympathetic to certain current measures. Above all, however, I would like to thank the paramedics, firefighters and police officers for their extraordinary efforts over the past few weeks. As a small thank you to the members of the Integrated Rescue System, we have prepared free tickets to the museum.”
The building of the National Technical Museum in Letná will open to visitors on Tuesday 19 May 2020. Tickets will be available at the ticket office and can be paid for both contactless and in cash.
