The construction playground is one of the most popular parts of the construction exhibition. Today, visitors of all ages have the opportunity to test their own building skills on one of the granary floors of the former malt house. Even simple wooden blocks can be used to build surprisingly complex constructions, the mass model of the Plasz monastery allows you to create the appearance of the complex in different historical stages of its development, and for the youngest visitors there is a padded “figure eight” with a simple “archetypal building kit”. After all, surely even the great architects and builders acquired their first construction skills precisely with buildings made of blocks!
The knowledge gained by visiting the exhibitions can be tested on an interactive screen with quizzes, make-ups and other fun games. Magnetic puzzles allow you to assemble the facades of buildings in different stylistic periods, the so-called “architect’s table” will introduce you to the transformation of building plans in the past, the “slide-out” will give you an insight into the terminology of architecture. The building playground also provides space for working with children’s guides through the exhibition or for creating your own building design.
