The CSD NTM Plasy Building Crafts Yard is again prepared for the Building Crafts Day this year at the time of the traditional Plasy pilgrimage “Na Královnu”. The intention of this event is not only to introduce some of the crafts associated with construction, but above all to allow visitors to try out a number of specific craft skills.

Entrance to the site will be through the Abbey Stables, as was the case on Bell Ringers’ Day. It functions throughout the holidays as a relaxation and creative zone of the CSD NTM Plasy, where a creative mosaic workshop is prepared and additional activities for children in the form of natural building blocks and tables and mini carpentry workshops where you can cut, hammer, screw. It is also open to anyone who wants to relax in the middle of the grounds of the Plzeň monastery. The mosaic workshop will not be open during the Building Crafts Day, but will be fully available to visitors again on Sunday.

Among the craftsmen who are ready to work with visitors, we can name master carpenters, joiners, stained glass artists, painters, plasterers, roofers, bricklayers, rope makers, stonemasons, blacksmiths… They are all ready not only to show and introduce their craft, but also to teach you something.

A new feature of this year’s Day of Building Crafts is the opportunity to take part in guided tours of the farm yard and the exhibition of building-historical research. They will start at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm in front of the Abbey Stables.

Admission to the Building Crafts Day is 90 CZK for children and 150 CZK for adults. Entrance to the Building Crafts Exposition is free on this day.
