The Czech Architecture Award – a competitive showcase announced by the Czech Chamber of Architects. The aim – promotion of quality architecture.
The nominated works of the year 2021 can be viewed from 1 July in the outdoor exhibition of the National Technical Museum in the Centre of Building Heritage of the NTM Plasy. Entrance to the exhibition is free of charge.
The competition is open to buildings that not only speak for their high aesthetic and technical quality, but also need to be perceived in the context of their creation, their relationship to their surroundings and their social contribution. The main purpose of the show is to cover the widest possible range of works. For this reason, the works are not judged in individual categories, but one main prize is awarded. The entries are judged by an international jury of seven members. Registration for the competition is free of charge.
This year, the international jury selected from 170 entries.
