Car park
A free unguarded car park for up to 250 vehicles is within the grounds on the left hand side once you leave the main road. To reach the civil engineering exposition, continue along the road for approx. 200m.
Accessible Premises
The civil engineering exposition is almost fully accessible for visitors with limited mobility with the exception of a footbridge on the second floor (3 steps) and the mill room (2 steps), where seasonal exhibitions are held. Other rooms are accessible via a lift. We are happy to help. To enter the museum, please ring the bell by the entrance.
There are accessible toilets available in the museum.
Children in the Museum
Children are welcome here. The exposition includes a so called building playground, which offers space for play, building, and rest.
Cyclists
Bike stands are situated right in front of the museum entrance. Inspiration for bike trips is on the town’s official web site.
Groups
Organized groups (minimum of 10 people) can make an appointment for guided tours, museum education, and arts and crafts workshops on weekdays throughout the year.
Pets
Your furry friends will get no further than the courtyard. They may be given a bowl of fresh water though.
